Hi, I’m Laura Fredericks.

I’ve built four startups as a founder, and helped hundreds more as a mentor and coach. I’m now a full time marketer and growth strategist, but I didn’t start out as one.

I taught myself marketing out of necessity. Back in 2010 I was a solo founder with no budget, no team, and very little marketing experience. I turned every spare minute towards learning everything I could about startup marketing so that I could find my audience and build my business.

With this blog, I’m giving you the tools to make that learning process easier. The first hundred questions that a founder asks about marketing are pretty much all the same. I’ll do my best to answer them, bringing in experts along the way to help explain things in more detail.
